Currently, I’m serving as Creative Director for TaskRabbit, the same-day service platform that’s revolutionizing everyday work in thousands of communities around the world. Here, I’m responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to develop global brand creative and campaigns across all platforms, including web, social, email, mobile, video, print and OOH. I’m focused on defining and evolving the TaskRabbit brand with original storytelling, a contemporary look and feel, and a consistent tone of voice.
Previously, I spent four years as Sr. Creative Director for Tinder, where I was responsible for creating, evolving and managing the company’s brand strategy across global markets, crafting the brand voice and strategy within the Tinder product, and overseeing the development of marketing campaigns for Tinder's brand, user acquisition, revenue and engagement campaigns. I lead a multidisciplinary team to develop campaigns and content for multi-channel marketing initiatives, including: brand and product campaigns, user acquisition, CRM/engagement, cobranded partnership campaigns, CSR and public relations. I ensured consistency of style and integration with the company's strategic goals across a diverse and growing global market.
Before joining Tinder, I spent eight years as owner and Creative Director of Furious Creative, a full-service advertising agency serving businesses and other ad agencies in Nevada, California and Alaska. Client list includes: Great Basin Brewing Company, IBM, Nevada Land Trust, Minor O'Harra Advertising, Spawn Ideas, Silver Legacy, Boys & Girls Club, GCI, Midas, University of Alaska, Reno Orthopaedic Clinic, Interlock/Assa Abloy, Desert Research Institute, American College of Phlebology, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Prior to owning my own agency I served as Creative Director for Foundry (formerly Bauserman Group), the largest ad agency in northern Nevada. Client list includes: University of Nevada Athletics, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe, Jones Vargas Law Firm, Grand Sierra Resort, Montrêux Golf & Country Club, Artown, Reno River Festival, Bully's Sports Bar & Grill, Hometown Health and Lexus.
Before moving to Nevada, I served as Copywriter for Brilliant Media Strategies (formerly Bradley Reid & Associates), an Alaska-based advertising agency. Client list included: Providence Alaska, AT&T, Alaska Tourism Industry Association, ConocoPhillips, Alaska Marine Highway, Northwest Cruise Ship Association, Era Aviation, Doyon Native Corporation and The Denver Post.
Before moving to Alaska, I worked as a freelance copywriter and marketing consultant for several IT solutions/software development companies in New York City.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Arizona State University. I was born in Hawaii and raised in Goleta, California. In my spare time I love to grow vegetables, snowboard, hike, bike, sail, travel and write fiction.
